PROJECTS AT DIVERSIFIED

I worked as a Senior Design Engineer for multiple projects including CNN, ABC Disney Galaxy, and JPMChase.

WarnerMedia/CNN project - I collaborated with the client to improve their workflow to replace legacy decoders, improve the Media WAN/Transmission, and relocate their compression system.
ABC/Disney Galaxy project - I was the SME lead for all things intercom and audio along with console and rack elevation designs. I created the overall system designs for the entire building, consisting of 4 separate matrix, 7 different floors, 21 studios, 12 production control rooms (PCRs), 10 audio control rooms (ACRs), and lighting and shading rooms. Designed and oversaw the installation of 675+ intercom panels, 130 beltpack antennas, interfaces to RTS Intercom and Clear-Com, and 2-way radio. I created the overall system design for the RF/Mics/IFB system. The system consisted of over 330 mics and over 180 IFBs. I also designed graphics consoles and kiosks, BSPs, multimedia rooms, multipurpose rooms, communications rooms, and playout and ingest rooms.
JPMChase project - I was the design lead for all system designs for the core floor for connectivity to the building, consisting of the central equipment room (CER), the PCRs, ACRs, and central operations rooms (COR). I then became the site lead for the overall job for rooms that connected to the core floor. To include 16 different MPRs and Flex Rooms for town halls and meetings.

PROJECTS AT CNN

I worked as a project manager with several time sensitive deadlines. I was the SME on Vinten Products, intercom, and projectors. I was the project engineering lead the field for show coverage, election coverage, and as lead engineer on several projects. I have also worked in the bureau for live and recorded shows, elections, and special event coverage. I have gone into the field to assist in equipment repairs and upgrades. I have built robotic cameras, projector lamps, and projectors. I have hands on experience with repairing broken equipment, from intercoms, to cameras, to audio equipment.

NBC ANNUAL HEALTH AND FITNESS EXPO

I was the technical project engineering lead for the annual Health and Fitness Expo. I ensured all technical needs were met before and during the expo. I would set up the green screen for guests to come and receive a DVD copy of saying the weather forecast for the weekend. I coordinated volunteers to ensure equipment was running for guests. I upgraded this equipment to ensure clients received the best experience.

NBC TRANSITION TO HD

I created the monitoring displays configured for different productions, with full flexibility over window positioning and sizing. I also edited high quality processors for multi-viewer outputs for critical live monitoring applications. I was the liaison for our intercom system and router control with NBC Network. I ensured the routing and intercom systems worked properly for live on air shows.
